Background

I have worked in the stockmarket for the last 15 years starting out as a junior but later progressing to elite dealer. As a stock broker I was involved in early stage capital fundraising for AIM companies.

Thanks to this background I have been lucky enough to be witness to some of the most successful stockmarket flotations the AIM market has ever seen.

Apart from my commercial duties as MD of Simple Investments, I am also involved with my local business community having accepted the role of president of the Godalming Chamber of Commerce.

I am married with two children and although my sporting days are behind me I have still managed to complete three marathons (New York '00, London '01 and London '09)...only just ! 

World politics remains one of my general interests alongside anything to do with Portugal.
